Dr Gautam Ravi is the Principal Dentist at Royal Crown Dental where he leads a dedicated team with a focus in Biomimetic Dentistry and patient-centred care. Valued for his friendly and professional chair-side manner, Dr Gautam believes that the foundation of lifelong oral health lies in building long-term, trusting relationships with his patients.
Driven by a passion for excellence, Dr Gautam has committed his career to expanding well beyond the scope of generic Dentistry to find the most advanced and effective treatment options for his patients. This dedication to professional progress led him to the innovative principle of Biomimetics, which acts as the cornerstone of his practice.
A proud Sydney sider and Wentworth Point local, Dr. Gautam is deeply committed to serving the community he calls home. He earned his Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Master of Dentistry at one of Australia’s premier dental schools, Griffith University in sunny Queensland. Outside of the clinic, Dr Gautam can be found cozying up with his three cats, avidly following rugby, cricket and football, and spending time with his wife. If you are a WWP local, don’t be surprised to find him cycling the bike routes of our beautiful neighbourhood!
Tharushi Mitiyamulle
Tharushi, our Practice Manager at Royal Crown Dental, is often the first smile you will be greeted with when you walk through our clinic doors.
Tharushi is the first point of contact for our valued patients and for her trusted team of Dental Assistants. Her bubbly and friendly demeanor has put countless anxious patients at ease in our reception area, creating a comfortable atmosphere before they’re even in the dental chair. As a Wentworth Point local, she loves the opportunity to get to know many of our patients not only in the clinical setting, but also as fellow community members. With a knack for names and faces, our local patients might just get a hello from Tharushi when they’re out and about!
Isabelle Barreto
Our lovely Isabelle is such an important member of the Royal Crown Dental team. As a Dental Assistant of many years, Isabelle is always cool, calm and collected in the clinic. She is not only a knowledgeable and attentive assistant but also loves to engage with our patients chairside.
As a Nursing student, Isabelle entered Dental Assisting because of her love of patient-centred work. Like much of our team, Isabelle is also a Wentworth Point local, and is proud to serve her beautiful community. Outside of Dental Assisting, Isabelle is a total beach bum and loves to be in or around the water whenever she gets the chance.
April Howison
Our wonderful Dental Assistant, April, is an asset to both the patient experience and to our team. Her attentive, friendly, and professional manner both helps keep patients at ease, and our procedures running smoothly.
As a Nursing student, April entered Dental Assisting to get a headstart in a patient-facing role. In her spare time, you can find her either strumming away on her guitar or with her nose buried in a good contemporary fiction novel.
Keeran Naguleswaran
Keeran is a valued member of the Royal Crown team, bringing a composed, easygoing energy to our clinic. His steady and unflappable chairside manner enhances every treatment experience. As a psychology student, he is exceptionally well-equipped to support and reassure patients through the normal anxieties and emotions they may feel in the chair.
Outside of the clinic, Keeran loves to be active at every opportunity; playing cricket, soccer, dog-walking and gyming. When he’s not playing sport, he’s cheering on his favourite teams, FC Barcelona and the Black Caps; staying true to his Kiwi roots, even from across the ditch in Australia.
